HAWKES BAY ADULT RIDING CLUB (HARC) - PROFILE
HARC was established in 2000 by some keen riders wanting to do a bit more than just riding by themselves. HARC is a friendly group of riders of all ages (17 +) and with a very diverse range of horses. Members compete in most equine disciplines, at levels ranging from just getting back into competing, to Novice level. Club Grounds are at 61 Sandy Rd, Meeanee, the Papakura Equestrian Domain (next door to the Speedway).

Ph 870 3177Rallies: We try to hold a rally once a month. Recent events include treks, NITE recruitment (North Island Teams Event), and our own take on eventing with dressage/show jumping and hunter sections. We welcome ideas from all members and encourage everyone to have a turn at running a rally.
NZRC: HARC is an affiliated member of the New Zealand Riding Clubs
Subs: They are presently set at $50 for a season (1 Sept – 31 Aug) . These are to be paid to our treasurer. $5 per member pays the NZRC subs.
Newsletter: The HARC newsletters will be emailed out to our members and for those that don’t have email, we are more than happy to post them out. Email is preferred as it saves on printing and postage costs.
Classifieds: We are happy to include any items that you wish to buy or sell in our newsletters. You can email details and Nikki will put them in the next month’s newsletter.
