MATTERS ARISING: 
·HORSE explained with change in committee etc they were unable to run phases as NITE 2007.

AMENDMENT TO PREVIOUS AGM MINUTES: 
·Jennifer Howard accepted the position of “SI Patron” not “Committee”.


CORRESPONDENCE IN-
·Review report from Mrs. M Phillips
·Confirmation of NZRC, when NZRC was established 1980
·RE: NITE 2008, clubs letters concerned about NITE being held in Hawera. Tabled for discussion         in the Committee meeting.
·Email from Jean regarding AGM and constitution enquiry from a club in regards to their AGM.

REPORTS:

PATRON:  Verbal report from John Moore, Pleased with the way NZRC is going, Disappointed about the report from the RRup (Lisa) and explained the committee is all voluntary, suggested that clubs and committee start using computer for communication etc.  Thanked Coastal ARC club for hosting AGM.

PRESIDENT:  Report from John Flintoff:- John was unable to attend as he was to busy on a Ship in the sun around the Islands and sent his sincere apologies.
Thanked National committee for their unwavering commitment to NZRC and all they do to keep things ticking along eg NITE, SITE and Certificates etc
Thanked Helen Hansen for her enthusiasm & efficiency and her logical KISS (keep it simple stupid) approach.
Clubs are like families:- They get along some of the time, some move on & some come back.
Urged all members to consider this:- “NZRC is the most cost effective way for like minded people to meet & compete”.
Each member will get from their club as much as they are prepared to put in.
(John also hoped that he would not get sun burnt).

N.I.VICE-PRESIDENT:  Report from Bev Birkett:- Explained what Taupo ARC have been up to for the last season.  NITE 2007.

SEC/TREASURERS:    Reported that she felt there needed to be more enthusiasm and motivation with in the committee and felt that new blood was needed with in the positions from time to time.
Sec/Trea position, to be advertised in the RRUp for next AGM. 
2006-07 season saw NZRC with 30 clubs and 788 members compared with 2005-06 of 33 clubs and 1061 members.

RIDERS ROUND-UP:  Sheryl Goble.
Is has been hard work getting information and email addresses from clubs, Sheryl has spent hours trying to get the RRUp together and out, 7 clubs send in information for the RRUp but that is only a small number considering that there are 30 odd clubs affiliated.  Have increased their computer skills etc but still fell that they are not up to the task.
·It was felt that Sheryl had done a great job and underestimates her abilities.

ARC Presidents Report 2007
My Sincere apologies for my absence but I’m on a Pacific Cruise avoiding winter for a few
Days.
I wish to thank the National Committee for their unwavering commitment to the NZRC & all they do to keep things ticking along eg. NITE, SITE, the certificates etc.
Helen, many thanks for you enthusiasm & efficiency and your logical KISS approach (Keep It Simple Stupid), its been a delight to work with you.
Clubs are like families – they get along some of the time, some move on & some come back.
I urge all out members to consider this: NZRC is the most cost effective way for like minded people to meet and compete.
Each member will get from their club as much as they are prepared to put in.
(Hope I don’t get sunburnt!!)
